Wines from Entre Ríos, Argentina🍷

Is it possible to make wines in humid and subtropical regions? Yes, this is possible and it happens in Argentina.

We have a wine region in the province of Entre Ríos where there are currently 4 wineries that produce quality wines and 70 grape growers.

These wines have a long history. Around 1928 Entre Ríos was the fourth wine region in the country: 115 wineries, 2,500 hectares of vineyards, and a culture deeply rooted in winemaking. By then, Concordia, Federación and Colonia San José were the bastions of this activity, although there were also wineries in Concepción del Uruguay and Paraná. It was in the 1930s that the crisis affected the sector, followed by a law that would prohibit production until 1993 when it was possible to produce again.

Several decades later the law changed and some producers were encouraged to return as Los Aromitos @vinosaraentrerios Born in 2011, Los Aromitos is located in the city of Crespo in the Diamante Department, close to the Paraná River, and has 7,000 plants including Tannat, Malbec, Merlot, Syrah, Marselan, and Chardonnay. In my video, I share the Chardonnay.

If you would like to know more about this region, do not hesitate to write me. I will answer in the post.
